How fast can you leverage a building after you buy it?

Hi guys! Just signed up last week. Question, how fast can I leverage a building in order to get a commercial equity line of credit against it? I spoke to a couple local banks and some won’t do it and others say it would take a year or so. Maybe I haven’t spoke to the right bank yet? Maybe I need to talk to the national banks?

How’s your guys’ luck with this out there?
