I’m doing research in my target area and I’m using Zillow and Redfin. On their site, you are able to filter properties that have been sold and it list out an amount the appear to be the sold price. Does anybody know how accurate the sold list price or is that an estimated amount? Thank you.

Hey Richy, I’ve been doing the same thing. I’ve found that (if you’re using a laptop or desktop) when looking on the Zillow map, houses marked with a yellow dot is the actual sold price. If you zoom in really close on the neighborhood, you’ll see there are prices for each house in boxes. Those prices may or may not be accurate since they generally reflect the tax assessment, not the actual market value. Hope that helped.
