Money Pit is a great one. Tom Hanks flick, comedy.

Hanks buys a house because the widow needs to sell fast after her husband dies. Hanks thinks its a great deal as a a result.

There is actually a great quote from Hanks’ Realtor in the film:
Hanks : It doesn’t make any sense, why would somebody be selling a million dollar house for a hundred thousand?
Realtor : Who knows? A divorce, loan sharks, a scandal. The point is you get to capitalize on another human being’s misfortune. That’s the basis of real estate. So do we have a deal?

Haha That last line sounds like me. Money Pit was a classic “Home Crap Home!” my favorite line.
