      Hello,

I have a question regarding financing for first time home buyer.

Should you get a pre-qualification first before getting a deal? or should you get a deal first and then go through the process of pre-qualification and pre-approval?

      Thanks

Hi Bryan as a first time home buyer a pre-qualification will sure benefit. Remember, your goal should be to buy under market and/or with favorable terms. Regardless of the type of financing. This is just another vehicle to obtain a property. In any case it is the investments purchase price and or terms that will help you find financing. So, if it is a good investment, as Tom teaches, financing will appear. I hope I have helped with my answer.
