Giving Up on Yard Sales

  I was going to yard sales to find off market deals before they hit the MLS, but unfortunately it seems that there is a large pool of women in Dallas who are professional yard sellers. They fill their yards up with crap and are not moving but basically running an illegal thrift store. I went to about 30 of these and gave up because its wasting a lot of time. When I ask them about why they are selling, no one speaks English. :/

  Hey Cyrus, that’s a bummer. Perhaps you could craigslist “Estate Sales” and try to be the first one there. For example, if you see an ad for an estate sale that is saturday from 7AM-10AM try and be there at 6:45 and knock on the door and see if they will sell the house to you. 🙂
